In the chaos economy, it’s hard to say whether you’re on the top of success or not, and how long can you keep your heyday? Yerry Yang – The main Y letter starts all Yahoo! has been fired. He used to be in some books about successful case, sucessful business man. Now, he become one of us, losers!
Yerry Yang starts Yahoo at the early period of internet, 1994. The time when the giant Google was not born yet, it proves the truth that older is not always a reason for winner. Yahoo’s going down in every single face of their product series. Begining with the “all-fault” 360 blogging system, then with the latest trouble yahoo messenger version.
Yerry Yang was drown in his victory, he don’t care about the fusion between Yahoo and Microsoft. Now, he pay for this. If Yahoo wants to speed up and re-gain their glory. The following products have to be improve:
- The search engine: too bad for an old man like yahoo in the market. They even don’t have the localize version for the search result. And their yahoo bots work like a real oldman. They don’t care how the useful of the result bring to us, they just simply want to list them out.
- The social networks: Yahoo seem to be a handicap compared with other social networks like facebook, myspace or the blogging platform of Google, Blogger. Their 360 is full of bugs and annoyance. 360 cannot link with their own products and support each other. The 360 developer team is putting the new profiles system on the blue plan, however it’s still a promise. The profiles system could be the failure mash once again.
- Email system: the giant lost their fan to gmail. The newest version of yahoo bring to us many unnecessary function as well as lots of bugs. We’re looking for a simple email system not an “outlook-like” on the web.
- The SEO: too bad for yahoo team, they even don’t care about SEO. Let’s just take a look at an URL of yahoo and Google

it’s easier to blame someone for their faults than to acknowledge them for their contributions. For better or for worse, he has made history. I don’ quite agree with you calling him a loser. But it all comes down to your definition of “a loser” anyway. peace!
